Course Description
This qualification has been developed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA). Learners who are successful in achieving this qualification will become eligible to apply for an SIA license to practice within the private security industry in the United Kingdom. This is an SIA license-linked qualification, meaning that successful learners will be notified to the SIA which provides a necessary requirement towards obtaining a license to perform the role of a Security Officer in the private security industry.

- Learners taking their Security Officer training for the first time will need to show that they hold a current and valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate that meets the requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
