Here at NLTT, we aim to place in your hands knowledge and understanding that you can use to transform your life mentally, financially, and socially. Thirty-five years ago, I dropped out of school at 13 years old because my parents could not afford to pay my school fees. From this age, I started to look after myself without any support from any family. In these dark years, one burning desire that consumed my mind was that I wanted to go back to school; I want to have an education. But with my financial condition in life, I could not see how I could get back to school. Whenever I went out, I saw people driving expensive cars, living a life of luxury. But I was living a life of poverty, poor health, and loneliness. I noticed that people living a life of luxury and abundance were the people who had a quality education. This revelation made me seek an alternative way to an education that is both high quality and affordable.  In this pursuit, I enrolled at Rapid Result College, a college based in the United Kingdom, where I studied GCE Ordinary Levels, GCE Advanced Levels Diploma of the Associateship Insurance Institute, and LLB Intermediate with RRC. This affordable education prepared me to do a law degree and I eventually entered a teaching career. The result of my time spent studying is that I now own a five-bedroom house that is worth £600,000 in the UK, four flats in a busy African city and a retirement six-bedroom bungalow in my state.  Now the question is, what transformed my life from poverty and lack of financial security and abundance? I can see four factors that have helped me out of my poverty background. In first place, I have ambition. Ambition is the root of all achievements. In second place, high quality and affordable education. In third place, the decision I made. Making the right decision is crucial to your success in life. In fourth place, I invested every penny I had in my education. The biggest investment I made in life is in my education. I invested money, dedication, commitment, time, and self-discipline into my education. The decision I made thirty-five years ago was the right decision because I can see the fruits of it today.  As you read the story of my life, you may be in the same mess I was in thirty-five years ago financially destitute, jobless, lonely, and poor.
